Anantu.Studio is a multidisciplinary architectural and strategic consulting practice based in Barcelona. The name is derived from the Sanskrit Ananta (infinite/limitless) and Vastu (the science of dwelling in harmony with natural forces). This duality defines our approach: we bridge the limitless potential of a conceptual vision with the technical rigor required to ground it in the physical world.
Founded in 2026 by Alicia Hernanz, the studio draws on over a decade of experience at the highest levels of international architecture. Alicia’s professional journey includes pivotal roles at Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW), Ian Ritchie Architects, and Barozzi Veiga.
Most recently, she spent four years working hands-on with the Art Institute of Chicago on a transformative campus makeover, delivering three major projects including new galleries and a state-of-the-art Conservation and Research Center. This experience in managing complex, high-stakes institutional milestones is the foundation of the studio’s expertise.
Anantu.Studio operates internationally, serving cultural institutions as a strategic partner, while maintaining a dedicated design focus on public, cultural, and residential projects in Barcelona and the Balearic Islands.
